Risk Management Manager

This role will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure the effective implementation of financial and risk management solutions for our banking clients.


Responsibilities:

1. Understand and analyze the business requirements of banking clients and work towards delivering effective solutions in line with industry standards and regulations.

2. Utilize your expertise in Moody's products, IFRS9, FTP, Basel, and OFSAA to provide in-depth insights and guidance to clients on financial risk management and reporting.

3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, data analysts, and business stakeholders, to design, develop, and implement Moody's solutions.

4. Conduct thorough business and data analysis to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement in financial risk management processes.

5. Act as a subject matter expert on regulatory requirements, such as IFRS9, Basel, and other financial industry standards, and provide guidance to clients in meeting these requirements.

6. Work closely with clients to understand their specific needs and challenges, and translate these into technical requirements for the development team.

7. Provide support in the configuration and testing of financial systems and Moody's products.

8. Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including functional specifications, user manuals, and training materials.

9. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to ensure Moody's solutions

are aligned with the latest standards.


1. Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) would be a plus.

2. Proven experience as a Functional Business Analyst with a focus on financial risk management and Moody's products.

3. Strong knowledge of financial industry standards and regulations, including IFRS9 and Basel.

4. Expertise in Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) and Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA).

5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with complex financial data.

6. Project management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

7. Experience in the banking or financial services industry is preferred.

8. Familiarity with software development processes and tools is a plus.
