Claudine is a neighbourhood French restaurant (Neo-brasserie), presenting an intimate side of French cuisine, inspired by honest home-cooking and convivial meals. A concept by Julien Royer and The Lo & Behold Group.


We are looking for a passionate, service-driven individual to fill the role of a Service Captain for our venue. Having the necessary product knowledge and strong people acumen skills are the backbone to a strong restaurant service. The role also requires the individual to maintain the highest customer service standards of the establishment and ensure that our customers leave with an unforgettable experience.


Your responsibilities include:

  • Build and maintain relationship with guests
  • Takes charge of a section within the restaurant by ensuring smooth operations and that guests receives quality experience
  • Understands the restaurant’s food and beverage menu and able to make recommendations to guests according to their preferences and dietary requirements.
  • Should be aware of any allergies before reaching tables, knowing and able to make any subsidiaries if required
  • Guiding and mentoring new Service Captains in daily operations.
  • Assist Managers in ordering and stock taking.
  • The ability to explain the ingredients used and/or methods on how to enjoy the dish when presenting the dish to the guest
  • Proactive and able to anticipate guests' needs (Be anticipative and intuitive, when required, adapt or adjust yourself to meet the guest’s needs)
  • Must keep up-to-date with our product knowledge/seasonal produce and display a high-level confidence to answer guest’s questions.
  • Assist with duties of a Service Captain and carry out any other duties as assigned by the Manager

  • Team players who is able to perform in a fast-paced working environment
  • Someone who demonstrates proactive behaviour and takes responsibility for their work
  • Adaptable to constant change and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Someone who is self-motivated and able to lead the Service captains to ensure that guests have a memorable dining experience.
