A Project Manager is responsible for planning, overseeing and leading projects from ideation through to completion. This is a senior role at an organisation and requires interaction with a range of internal and external stakeholders, most often managing several moving project parts simultaneously. This position will be responsible to manage regular/ad hoc projects for both new and existing stores.
He/she will also be responsible for maintenance management for existing outlets.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all project development from planning, execution to completion.
- Responsible of project tender / quotation and budget planning.
- Liaise with headquarter on new shop designing and ordering of furniture.
- Work with contractors on job completion within scheduled timeline and cost.
- Liaise with contractors and authorities to ensure all necessary approvals are obtained on time, including submission of drawings and documents.
- Conduct regular site meetings and inspections to monitor project progress.
- Coordinate with contractors for all repair work.
- Managing relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Designing and signing off on contracts
- Overseeing all incoming and outgoing project documentation
- Participating in tender process i.e. design, submission and review
- Designing risk mitigation plan.
- Conducting project review and creating detailed reports.
- Conceptualize window display and frequent shop visit to ensure all display are executed
Requirements:
• Diploma/Degree in Architecture, Building, Design, Creative Art or equivalent
• Minimal 3 years of working experience in project management, preferably in Retail/Supermarket
• Able to read building plan
• Knowledge in Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop, preferably SketchUp
• Good command of English and Mandarin in both verbal and written
• Strong organizational skills.
