We seek suitable candidates for the position of Strategy Manager. You will be responsible for co-developing, monitoring and evaluation of the strategic initiatives. Working closely with executive leadership, you will analyse trends, opportunities and develop plans to achieve long-term objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of business strategy of our agency, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to execute strategic plans.

As a Strategy Manager you will play a pivotal role in shaping the THKMC’s future and ensuring its long-term success. You should possess a combination of strategic thinking, leadership, and analytical skills, along with a keen understanding of the social sector environment in which the agency operates.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Planning: Develop and execute the organisation’s strategic plan and initiatives to drive growth and competitive advantage
  2. Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research, competitor analysis, and industry trend assessments to identify opportunities and threats
  3. Goal Setting: Collaborate with senior management to set clear, measurable and achievable strategic goals and KPIs
  4. Resource Allocation: Allocate resources efficiently to support the implementation of strategic initiatives
  5. Team Leadership: Lead and inspire cross-functional teams to work cohesively towards achieving strategic objectives
  6. Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor and evaluate the progress of strategic initiatives, making adjustments as necessary
  7. Risk Management: Identify and assess risks associated with strategic decisions and develop mitigation plans
  8. Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with the strategic vision
  9. Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data, budgets, and forecasts to make informed strategic decisions

Qualifications

  5. Excellent Communication: Effective written and verbal communication skills to convey complex strategies to various stakeholders
  6. Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges and roadblocks in strategy implementation

Skills & Knowledge Required:

  1. Business Acumen: Degree in business or related field, MBA preferred. Deep understanding of business operations, including finance, marketing, and operations
  2. Experience: 3-5 years of experience in business administration, management consulting or strategic planning.
  3. Strategic Planning: Proficiency in developing and executing strategic plans
  4. Market research: Strong research skills to assess market trends, competitive landscapes and customer behaviour
  5. Financial Analysis: Ability to understand financial statements, budgets and perform cost-benefit analysis
  6. Project Management: Proficient in project management principles to oversee the execution of strategic initiatives
  7. Data Analysis: Competency in data analysis tools and techniques for informed decision-making
  8. Leadership: Effective leadership and team management skills
  9. Risk Management: Knowledge of risk assessment and mitigation strategies
  10. Change Management: Understanding of change management principles to guide the organization through strategic shifts
  11. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex information to diverse audiences
  12. Ethical and Legal Compliance: Awareness of ethical and legal considerations in strategic decision-making
