Role Description:

The Merchandiser will be based in Singapore, reporting to Sales & Merchandising Manager. He/she plays a pivotal role in managing the coordination and communication between various departments within the organization and external stakeholders, ensuring that garment production and delivery schedules are met effectively.


Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with the sales and design teams to understand the garment requirements, materials and design specifications.
  • Review and process incoming orders from clients.
  • Ensure that all order details, including quantities, specifications, and delivery schedules, are accurately recorded and communicated to relevant departments.
  • Monitor the production process by collaborating with production teams, factories, and suppliers.
  • Track and report the status of each order, ensuring it aligns with the agreed-upon production and delivery timeline.
  • Address production-related issues promptly and work on solutions to prevent delays.
  • Collaborate with quality control teams to establish and maintain quality standards for garments.
  • Communicate quality feedback and requirements to the production teams.
  • Act as the central point of contact for all garment-related inquiries, updates, and issues.
  • Maintain regular communication with internal teams to provide status updates and address any concerns.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of all orders, production details, and quality reports.

Specifications/Requirements (Education, Experience, Skills):

  • Minimum 2-3 years proven working experience in product development, sourcing and merchandising field.
  • Previous experience in garment merchandising or a related role is preferred.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong ability to prioritize workloads, attention to details and well-organized.
  • Strong team player within own team and with cross-functional team with excellent communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, flexible and good problem-solving skill.
  • Self-motivated and proactive to drive changes and new ways of working.
  • Possess a curious mentality and a passion for learning.
  • Good analytical mindset and pro-active attitude
  • Good in time management and able to work with tight schedule and under pressure.
  • Good computer skills in Word, Excel and Outlook, etc.
