You will play a key role in various aspects of architectural design and practices and management of various projects.
- Conceptualize concept and schematic designs.
- Carry out feasibility studies and presents design proposals.
- Design development that would include detailed drawings and specifications for contractors to follow for construction purposes.
- Assist in tendering and bidding processes and inspect the on-going construction to ensure that the project is built according to design plans.
- Liaise with and discuss project-relevant issues with clients.
- Negotiate with contractors on design requirements and building progress.
- Oversee progress of on-site work; ensure project is built according to design plans and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Work with engineers and surveyors to make sure that the building plans meet the necessary building standards.
Requirements
- Good Degree in Architecture from a University accredited with BOA
- Minimum 8 years of relevant architectural experience
- Being registered with the Singapore Board of Architects will be an advantage
- Flair for design and good knowledge of architectural detailing
- Conversant with local codes and regulations, and construction practices
- Strong planning, organisational, supervision and project management skills
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
- Candidates with more years of experience may be considered for Principal role
