Responsibilities:
- Manage entire project teams from award to handover
- Overall responsible for successful conclusion of multiple construction projects
- Making strategic decisions and providing leadership and direction to Project Managers to implement decisions
- Meeting with Clients, Stakeholders and Project Managers to report on project progress
- Liaise with client and consultants to resolve any critical issues, budget control and build strong working relationships
- Devise cost-effective plans to enable effective project completion
- Manage risks to avoid delays or reputational damage
- Handle any other ad-hoc duties and tasks assigned
Requirements:
- Possess Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Min 20 years of project management experience in Construction industry
- Handled 3 projects related to laboratories/ business park/ mixed development
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Positive attitude and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Able to communicate in English and Japanese language (to handle queries and feedback from Japanese speaking associates/clients)
- A team player with good communication skills
