about the job
You will be providing excellent dedicated secretarial support to the Managing Director, while taking care of the overall welfare of employees and the office. You will be responsible to manage the MD’s calendar, scheduling of meetings, travel arrangements and visa applications. Your support for travel arrangements and itinerary planning will be extended to the rest of the team, who travel about once or twice per quarter. Apart from secretarial support, you will also take charge of all office operations, from vendor management, liaising with building management, pantry and stationery supplies, to managing office relocation/renovation projects. You will also need to manage a receptionist and a tea lady, as well as cleaning assistants engaged through a vendor.

You will be reporting to the Managing Director directly, and will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations for the team and office.
skills and experience required
The ideal candidate should be tertiary educated and come with at least 5 years of relevant experience in secretarial and office management duties, preferably in a supervisory role. You will need to come with great communication and interpersonal skills, along with excellent organisational and time management capabilities. Having good initiative to resolve issues independently and being able to handle confidential and sensitive information, will contribute to your success in this role.
