Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the Point of Sale (POS) systems, ensuring they are operational and efficient across all retail locations.
- Lead IT projects related to system upgrades, software implementations, and other technology initiatives.
- Develop project plans, allocate resources, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with technology vendors, negotiating contracts and ensuring service level agreements are met.
- Implement security measures to protect data and systems from threats.
- Drive the integration of e-commerce platforms with our existing systems, ensuring a seamless online and offline shopping experience for customers.
- Supervise and mentor a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, training, and support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience in IT leadership roles within the retail industry.
- Expertise in POS systems, project management, vendor management, and network infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of e-commerce integration and online retail operations.
- Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Leadership and team management experience.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to stay current with emerging technologies.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., PMP, CISSP) are a plus.
