Job Description
Main Responsibilities
- Wind Engineer with expertise in wind energy & wind flow using Industry standard modeling tools (WASP, Windfarmer, Openwind,) and best practices
- Assist our local development teams
- Designing wind farm
- Going for on-site trip visits
- Supervising wind monitoring equipment installation
- All other tasks required by the development stages of wind (or solar) projects like photo-montage (virtual picture visualization), noise modeling, preparation of documents for community meetings or approvals requirements including environmental aspects
Essential Skills and Requirements
- Soft skills: Interpersonal and team player, as the job requires interfacing with team members from different offices and cultural background
- Self-starter
- Fast learner and keen to be exposed to new / different environments
- Good with Microsoft Excel
- Ease with the use of complex Softwares.
- Trainings will be provided.
- Knowledge of GIS (arcGis, Qgis) to create maps for local development team is a plus
- Immediate availability is a plus
Education Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree
- Major: Engineering (Mechanical /Civil / Environmental) or Earth Science / Geography
