WAREHOUSE EXECUTIVE

• Our client is a well-established group providing industry leading, end to end relocation and moving services, 3PL logistics services for corporate clients
• The 3PL logistic division is a leading customised supply chain solution provider which build agile logistics solutions through the application of innovative business models, technology and integrated processes.

THE ROLE:

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager of the 3PL Logistics division, the Warehouse Executive coordinates activities and handle day-to-day operations for the warehouse.

1. Supervise the warehouse team to perform daily warehouse operations
2. Participate and act as key contact in the implementation of new warehouse management system (WMS)
3. In charge of safety requirement for the warehouse personnel.
4. Conducts Daily Tool Box Meeting with team members regarding warehouse operations, shipment priorities , safety reminders and other adhoc information.
5. Administer pick list for receiving, outgoing and shipping arrangements
6. Liaise with internal departments and customer to resolve any warehouse operation related issues
7. Communicate with customer service personnel in Operations Department (email, phone etc)
8. Conducts 5s Housekeeping guidelines in the warehouse and monitors in daily basis.
9. Monitor all Warehouse KPIs and provide monthly warehouse KPI reports to determine monthly achievements.
10. Manage and ensure inventory accuracy and controls as well as report discrepancies to management. Updates the Daily Inventory Level of all warehouse items.
11. Establish warehouse SOPs/work instruction for different products and ensure team to follow established procedures.
12. Conduct periodic cycle counts.
13. Assists to facilitate Performance Appraisal for warehouse personnel.
14. Work with Customer Service on Customer Complaints with Corrective and Preventive Action.
15. Train newly hired personnel on warehouse processes and other warehouse personnel in WMS implementation.
16. Assist and propose continuous improvements on warehouse processes
17. Compute for Manpower, Equipment and Warehouse utilization based on business requirements.
18. Act as backup , in the absence of the Manager.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

1. Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in a warehouse environment
2. Knowledge and experience in implementation of Warehouse Management Systems
3. Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Tools
