Responsibility:
1. Translate business requirements into the implementation of the overall organizational data management strategy, including standards, principles, data sources, storage, pipelines and data flow.
2. Develop and implement overall data management standards and principles. This includes data model designs, database development standards, implementation and management of data storage (e.g. lakes, warehouses) and data analytics systems.
3. Identify and define data source requirements, both internal and external, to design the end-to-end data architecture, from developing the meta-data to testing and implementing the proposed data management flow and solution (e.g. mapping of data across systems).
4. Collborate with key stakeholders in the organization to empower the ease of analytics through the maintenance of quality metadata and data. End results of the effort should be to allow users to easily query available data to suit their use cases.
Requirements:
1. Clear understanding of the concepts, principles, and implementation of data modeling, design, and data management. Prior experience in designing data models and the organization’s data flow is required.
2. Ability to integrate technical functionality, ensuring data accessibility, accuracy, and security in accordance to IM8 requirements.
3. Strong knowledge on best practices on data architecture for enterprise data systems development (e.g. lakes, warehouses).
4. Experience of operating within data governance policies, especially the IM8 is an advantage
