RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Assist the Merchandising Manager in planning and developing merchandising strategies that balance customers’ expectation and company’s objectives.
2. Collaborate with suppliers and analysts to negotiate prices and quantities.
3. Maintain Vendor master file to ensure accurate information.
4. Monitor ordering and delivery timelines to achieve targeted purchase.
5. Maximise customer interest and sales levels by displaying products appropriately.
6. Monitor stock movement and consider markdowns, promotions and price changes.
7. Remain up to date with industry’s best practices.
8. Actively work with Marketing Department to discuss and plan for promotional items.
9. Liaise with Retail Managers and Warehouse department to ensure product supply meets demand.
10. Prepare monthly updates report and conduct trade visit to outlets regularly.
11. Prepare new stocks procurement photos for outlets.
12. Maintain housekeeping and module stocks.
REQUIREMENTS & SPECIFICATIONS
1. Minimum O level. Certificate in a related field will be an added advantage
2. Proficient in Microsoft Office Skills
3. Strong numerical and analytical skills
4. Have a minimum of 2 years relevant experience in Apparel or retail industry.
6. Able to travel overseas for purchasing, on weekends and public holidays.
