Assistant HR Manager / HR Manager

Job Summary:

  • The Assistant HR Manager / HR Manager will be working closely with senior management team to develop goals and practices that support business strategies and organization & talent development
  • Act the role of Strategic HR Business Partner in providing HR insights and advisory to support business strategies
  • This role will play both a strategic and hands-on delivery role

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the full HR functions including planning, coordinating, and implementing HR activities. The functions include workforce strategy planning, recruitment and selection process, employee relations, compensation, performance management, HR policies and regulatory compliance, with responsibility for directing specific projects and programs
  • Engage senior management to support organisation development and change interventions
  • Partner with business stakeholders to identify/define talent/manpower requirements to build strong talent pipeline
  • Manage the performance and talent management initiatives such as career planning, staff development, performance appraisal, succession planning, manpower planning etc
  • Provide guidance to line management/employee relations/workplace issues such as grievances, disciplinary matters, employee exits etc
  • Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation to all levels of management/ employees and ensure company and regulatory compliance
  • Support and facilitate seamless, efficient and timely execution of day-to-day HR processes and transactions
  • Any other adhoc duties as assigned by Superior

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource or equivalent with at least 5 years of relevant HR experience
  • Able to work as a team player and independently, pro-active and results oriented
  • Strong sense of responsibility and ownership
  • Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and problem-solving mindset, with a willingness to be hands-on
  • Well balance between strategic way of working and day to day operational matters with a proactive approach
