A Project Officer position is available in the laboratory of Assistant Professor Wei MA at the School of Biological Sciences (SBS), Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
SBS is a school of the College of Science. It was established in 2002 with the mission to make a strong contribution to biological and biomedical sciences. Research areas at SBS include infectious diseases, immunology, neurodegenerative diseases and telomere biology and genome function. Since then, many talented individuals from around the world and Singapore have joined SBS as scientific leaders, and researchers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the administrative duties of the lab, such as safety/risk assessment, equipment maintenance and procurement, etc
Job Requirements:
- BSc in Biological Sciences or related fields
- Prior lab experience in plant molecular biology, plant lipids, plant physiology, protein biochemistry, plant genetics
- Competent in standard plant genetics, molecular biology, plant lipids, physiology, and protein biochemistry techniques
- Enthusiastic to plant biology research and suitable for teamwork
- Highly motivated and hard-working individual
- Expertise of Arabidopsis genetics, plant molecular biology and protein biochemistry background is highly desired
