Job description
- Conduct regular inspections of the ECT crane to identify any mechanical or electrical issues
- Develop and execute maintenance plans, including preventative and corrective maintenance, to ensure the crane is operating safely and efficiently
- Repair or replace any faulty or damaged components, such as gears, bearings, brakes, hoists, cables and motors
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the operation of the crane
- provide technical support and guidance to operators and other maintenance personnel
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including parts usage, repairs, and inspections
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations in all aspects of maintenance work
Requirements
- Min Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial engineering or a related field
- Min 5 - 8 years of experience in crane maintenance in a similar capacity
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Familiar with industrial safety protocols and regulations
- Able to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
- Willing to be on-call for emergency repairs
- Have Work at Height Certification
