COMPANY DESCRIPTION
We are one of the largest one-stop Underground Utilities Infrastructure companies based in Singapore. We provide Underground Utilities Infrastructure construction and maintenance, sewer pipeline rehabilitation, road and airfield construction and maintenance as well as asphalt pre-mix production and construction waste recycling.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct daily toolbox meetings
- To ensure all employees are briefed on safety procedures and awareness
- Implement steps to encourage and increase understanding and awareness of occupational safety, health among all personnel
- Monitor, review and implementation of Risk Assessment & Safe Work Procedures
- Assist in developing workplace safety procedures
- Enforce and promote workplace safety procedures
- Conduct investigations of any incidents or accidents at workplace
- To carry out regular inspections to ensure that safety procedures are practiced and adhered to
- Report of any unsafe acts, conditions or accidents at workplace to Management
- Advice Management on problem corrections
- Be part of the Safety Committee Group
- Identify in conjunction with Managers, the training needs of the Company and advice on the provision of appropriate training
- Advise on occupational health hazards and exposures, and arrange appropriate monitoring and health surveillance as required
- Conduct internal refresher trainings
- Liaise with statutory bodies, other operating companies and contractors on Safety Related matters
- Coordinate with relevant Authorities i.e.: SPF, SCDF, MOM, etc.
- Ensure timely notification to the relevant authorities of statutory reportable occurrences
- To put up reports and other documentation on regular and ad hoc basis
- Perform other duties or tasks as assigned by immediate superior/Head of Department
- Minimum Advance Certificate in WSH Level B or Diploma in WSH or equivalent is preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a relevant field
- Good interpersonal and communications skills
- Able to work independently and in a team
- Only Singaporeans
- 6 days’ work week.
- Preferably possess a valid Class 3 license.
- Willing to work at night
