JOB DESCRIPTION
· Plan and organize events according to client requirements
· May take part in the recruitment of new employees, both permanent and temporary ones
· Hiring and organizing everyone needed to help stage an event into their various departments
· Communicate, maintain, and develop client relationships
· Responsible for providing leadership, motivation, direction, and support to team members
· Travel on site to inspect ongoing arrangements, preparations, and changes needed to meet the needs of the client
· Ensure compliance with insurance, legal, health and safety obligations
· Assist Publics Relations and Marketing department to promote and publicize event
· Communicate directly with the client throughout the event planning process to learn requirements and goals
· Perform post-event tasks promptly such as meeting with clients to ensure satisfaction, and documenting needs and resolutions
· Research market, identify event opportunities and interest generation
JOB REQUIREMENTS
· Diploma in any field
· Prior experience in the events industry will be an advantage
· Results-oriented, ambitious and positive working attitude
