We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Store Associate to lead our team and ensure the success of our retail operations.
Job Description:
As a Retail Store Associate at Red Dot Running Company, you will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of our retail store. You will play a crucial role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers while driving sales, managing inventory, and leading a team of dedicated staff members.
Key Responsibilities:
· Welcome and assist customers to find the products that they are looking for
· Giving advice and guidance to the customers on product selection with some understanding of the customers’ needs.
· Assist with customer transactions including using the POS register. Training will be provided.
· Stock shelves with merchandise and manage inventories, attach price tags, product cards, etc.
· Receiving and storing in-coming deliveries.
· Pack out-going deliveries for online orders.
· Keeping up to date with all new product training, shop merchandise, displays,
promotions, etc.
· Ensuring the shop is tidy and clean.
· Other tasks and responsibilities as required.
Qualifications:
- Proven retail experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
