Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with other engineers and suppliers to develop new product designs and improve existing designs
- Work with QA to resolve RMA
- Adhere to Design processes and documents design proposals, drawings, Validation and Verification tests and Design Reviews
- Conducting research into new technologies in the area of Image Sensor and IoTs and adapting them to current needs or developing new solutions altogether
- Developing models to test new designs and simulate performance under different conditions
- Creating detailed engineering drawings and schematics of new products or processes
- Reviewing and approving designs for suitability and compliance with regulations and Test standards
- Preparing technical compliance documents for tenders, including estimates of time and costs required for completion
- Analysing customer requirements and identifying potential design flaws or issues that could arise during manufacturing
- Others ad hoc duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Possess minimum Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent
- Possess minimum 2-3 years of experience in Design and Development environment. Familiarity in Vision system will be a plus
- Knowledge in SolidWorks required and FMEA, FEA is a plus
