About the Role

This Senior Manager role will be the local leader of the APJ Digital Marketing region, owning the regional Digital Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy, applying business expertise to define digital initiatives in order to increase product demand and grow the sales pipeline. This role uses digital marketing to grow the business and has experience developing holistic, end-to-end marketing and revenue growth strategies for B2B companies, integrating emerging technologies into their strategies. Prioritize and ensure high performance for regional and local Digital activations, integrating Digital and non-Digital channels, including but not limited to, paid media, organic search and social, web/mobile, events, webinars, global campaigns, and partners.

Establish critical metrics and continually analyze strategies and Digital activations to assess performance; use analysis to implement changes in our approach, remodel strategies when necessary to improve their effectiveness. This is an exciting role collaborating with wide ranging teams including Corporate and Product Marketing, Regional Marketing, Marketing Operations, Project Management, Creative Services, and Events. Primary peers are located in North America and EMEA.


About You

Strategy & Initiatives

  • Ownership and execution of the overall APJ digital strategy and its execution and reporting against business objectives.
  • Identifying high-growth and high-revenue digital opportunities, and taking the lead on how best to implement and optimize performance
  • Maintaining oversight of digital contributions against regional goals and proactively guide the business on status and any concerns before they become issues.
  • Actively involved in the launch and development of digital capabilities, particularly in ensuring delivery of budget and committed initiatives
  • Supervision of the set-up, launch, and optimization of digital experiences using our content management system
  • Partnering with Digital Marketing in the US and EMEA to design and scope digital elements of integrated Global Programs.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • People manager, leading and encouraging a positive working environment that enables the team to successfully balance strategy and efficient execution
  • Leading the team of Digital Marketing Strategist to build always-on brand to demand digital capabilities and develop a data driven web experience in APJ
  • Implementation and execution focused with hands-on, ‘roll up your sleeves’ experience but with a strategic lens to guide the team in the appropriate long-term direction
  • Aligning with local leadership to identify business priorities, then develop digital initiatives and guides organization to present impactful reports including business insights and recommendations (i.e quarterly business reports, digital roadmap, regional updates)
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop integrated plans addressing ABM, lead and demand generation campaigns, messaging and positioning frameworks, buyer personas, and buyer journey maps
  • Close partnership with search, social, media leads, marketing campaign managers, and agencies in the development of integrated APJ programs to drive awareness and demand

Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years experience in digital marketing with 3+ years leading a team of direct reports
  • Experience with defining and delivering success goals in a results oriented culture
  • Solid understanding of search and social best practices, including SEO keyword optimization
  • Familiarity with content management systems, analytics tools, project management software, and marketing automation systems (Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Analytics, Workfront, Marketo)
  • Global Digital and Web Marketing experience

Other Qualifications

  • Proven success in collaborating with multiple cross-functional teams to analyze, respond to, and effectively address various business needs and challenges, from marketing performance to internal operations and process refinement
  • Highly quantitative, analytical and business-minded
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Digital demand generation experience is highly desirable
  • Enterprise software and/or B2B experience is a plus
