OVERVIEW:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Regional People Partner – APAC to join our global People Team. In this newly created role, the Regional People Partner – APAC will report to the VP People Partnering.
Based in our Singapore office, you will lead our Singapore, Australian, Taiwan, Philippines and India People Team members. As a key People team member, you will set strategic goals by applying your human resources expertise and your business and regional market knowledge. You will be responsible for rolling out global People Team initiatives and aligning People initiatives for the APAC region.
THE CHALLENGE:
- Leads the APAC People team and drives the execution of the People Strategy in the APAC region.
- Ensure robust execution of People Team initiatives, company policies, and practices align with local laws and regulations in each country Sportradar operates in APAC region.
- Provides support, coaching and guidance to line managers and the APAC People Team. on people matters focusing specifically on the employees located in the APAC region.
- Manages the full employee life cycle:
- Works closely with the talent acquisition team to identify and attract top talent for the APAC region.
- Drives on-boarding, performance management, talent, learning & development initiatives and other key initiatives.
- Manages day-to-day operational activities (contract terms for new hires, promotions, and transfers).
- Is responsible for country specific People topics - especially labour law, employee relations, health and safety.
- Manages time and compensation management, and coordinate payroll services.
- Responsible for all People processes and deliverables in the region.
- Partners with regional leadership leaders to drive and implement employee engagement plans.
- Acts as a local champion and lead for CoEs or Divisional People partners that are implementing global people approaches.
- Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the People department to develop solutions, programs and policies and proactively address People challenges in their location.
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
- Support organizational change initiatives, including mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring, by providing HR expertise and guidance.
YOUR PROFILE:
- 8 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Bachelor´s Degree in HRM or a related discipline.
- Understanding and exposure to of HR best practices across all HR disciplines.
- Multidisciplinary regional knowledge regarding APAC labour law, social security & tax.
- Experience working in an international environment.
- Fluent English language skills, and other language advantageous such as Mandarin.
- Detail-oriented, accuracy, organized and self-motivated.
- Be fast in adapting to new things.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze data and develop actionable insights.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate strategic objectives into practical and actionable plans.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
