Administrative Skills  

To handle all administrative duties such as purchase requisition submission, contract renewals and invoice processing. To monitor and keep track of inventory levels by handling quotations, orders and invoices and ensuring shop’s inventory is well stocked and maintained.  To generate monthly reports such as sales report, accrual report, guides report etc.

  • To work towards set targets
  • Keep track of inventory levels and ensure inventory is well stocked and maintained at all times.
  • Requisite purchase request, handling of purchase order in a timely and professional manner.
  • Understand and well-versed in all system related tools.
  • Timely, detailed and accurate submission of invoices, travel agent/guide’s commission.
  • Generate sales report, inventory report, and merchandise aging report in a timely and professional manner.

Communication & Supervisory Skills 

  • To record and monitor any inter-departmental transfer, write off or merchandise loan.
  • Adequate and timely filing of documents as set by superiors and following all set procedures.
  • Response to guest needs and inquiry by phone/email relating to website order.
  • Oversee and maintaining of online shop portal, new orders, mail orders.
  • Liaising with vendors on new orders and delivery lead time.

Provides Retail Experience That Meets Guest Expectations

  • Manages and communicates merchandise opportunities to Retail Manager.
  • Participates and leads monthly inventory stock take.
  • Engages proactively with all guests and upsells items as briefed by superiors

Other Responsibilities

  • To work closely with the Retail Lead reporting to the Boutique Manager and Assistant Boutique Manager.
  • To work closely with all internal departments, fostering positive and long-term oriented good relationships with all colleagues.
  • To maximize revenue for the company by stringent cost/expense control and following set financial procedures.
  • Involve in stock taking on a monthly basis.
  • Assist and participate when sales floor need help
  • Job rotation and the possibility of working on weekends when needed
  • Oversees and ensures smooth processing of mail orders request.
  • Provides timely feedback from guests to enhance guest’s experience.
  • Observes professional and customer focused telephone etiquette at all times.
  • Familiarises with any and all promotional events for the Retail store or hotel.
  • Ensures smooth follow up on corporate purchase/festive hampers.
  • Records and handles any defective and damaged goods and highlight to Manager in timely manner.
