Job Responsibilities
- Lead the automation team and design process.
- Interact with MI automation global team to develop tailored solution for semiconductor industry in the APAC region.
- Travelling and meeting customers to discuss and review technical solution.
- Draft Technical proposal and liaison with the internal sales team for the presentation and submission
- Manage local vendor to develop technical proposal and review projects deliverables.
- Lead internal resources to support installation and commissioning phase of a project.
- Liaison with Project Manager and/or Department Manager, establish the project design and execution requirements.
- Conduct site visits to ensure proper and timely installation execution.
- Attend project design and project review meetings and ensure smooth communication with MI automation global team.
- Lead the technology and knowhow transfer from MI automation global team to the local team.
- Input into concept and basic design reports.
Requirements
- Degree in Automation, Mechatronics, or its equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with industrial Automation/Control systems such as SCADA/DCS/Delta-V/PLC.
- Experience from semiconductor sectors would be highly preferred.
- Must have experience in project deliverable production in a multi discipline design environment.
- Have ability to lead the team throughout all project phases (from Design to Commissioning).
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to manage time, maximize efficiency and meet deadlines.
