You shall be responsible for the sterilization and maintenance of instruments and utensils required by operating theatres and inpatients wards in accordance with infection control policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- To perform high standard of disinfection, sterilizing, storage and distribution of instruments and instrument sets to various operating theatres and inpatients wards.
- To perform biological and chemical monitoring and documentation in accordance with quality assurance standard.
- Have good knowledge on all aspects of the sterilization processes and maintain the desired practices and procedures to meet safety, environmental and infection control standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum GCE N or O levels or Higher Certificate in Healthcare.
- Previous experience in TSSU/CSSD.
- Experience especially in T-Doc system will be an added advantage.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Willing to do morning and afternoon shifts, with possible extended hours.
