  • Sale of Service Contracts To Fleet/Vehicle Owners
  • Maintain a pool of service contracts to form a base load to ensure stability of service revenue
  • Foster close-relationship with customers in their course of vehicle ownership for subsequent purchase
  • Keep up-to-date of all customers' feedback with reply to close case
  • Constantly educate customers with proper vehicle handling
  • Safeguard our product and brand image in vehicle maintainability
  • Weekly Sales Report (GGOB) on sales progress, challenges and prospects/forecasts to keep targets in check
  • Ability to explore new grounds/industries for new sales to meet new sales targets/KPI
  • Staying up-to-date on customer's payment progress will enable salesperson to educate/motivate regular on-time payments of customer in order to facilitate smooth transactions with their 30-days credit term
  • Offer/propose/quote maintenance agreements, adhoc quotations when complying with the standards of service centres
  • Customers' visit (onsite) new/existing during festive occasions or running promotions
  • Need to work with other service departments to help/assist in coordinating with customer to resolve vehicle's technical issues

Requirements

  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Tools: Knowledge in using CRM software to track customer interactions, manage leads, and maintain a database of customer information.
  • Product Presentation: Capability to create compelling presentations or demonstrations of services and products to potential customers.
  • Market Knowledge (Automotive): Awareness of market trends, competitor offerings, and pricing is beneficial to remain competitive and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
  • Time Management: Effective time management skills to handle multiple customer inquiries, follow-ups, and administrative tasks efficiently.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaboration with other departments such as technicians, service advisors, and parts departments to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Adaptability: The automotive industry is constantly evolving. Being open to learning about new technologies, products, and services is important for staying relevant.
  • Ethical Conduct: Maintaining a high level of integrity and ethical conduct is crucial in sales. Service Sales Executives should provide honest information to customers and avoid unethical practices.
  • Target Orientation: A focus on achieving sales targets and goals set by management
  • Resilience: Sales can be challenging, and rejection is a part of the job. A Service Sales Executive needs to have the resilience to bounce back from setbacks and stay motivated.
  • Following-Up: Diligently following up with leads and customers to build relationships and ensure customer satisfaction, which can lead to repeat business and referrals.
  • Organizational: Keeping track of customer interactions, appointments, and paperwork is crucial to maintaining an organized workflow.
  • Training, on-job training to familiarise dealer's/non-dealer's on In-house or aftermarket existing/new product/packages available in the market
  • Product Knowledge: A deep understanding of automotive services, maintenance procedures, parts, and accessories is essential. Being able to explain technical details to customers in a simple and understandable manner is crucial.
  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills are fundamental. Service Sales Executives must be friendly, approachable, and empathetic, ensuring that customers feel valued and understood.
  • Sales and Negotiation Skills: Strong sales skills, including the ability to identify customer needs, upsell or cross-sell services, and negotiate effectively to close deals, are vital. Service Sales Executives need to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Communication Skills: Clear and concise communication, both verbal and written, is essential. This includes being able to draft professional emails and documents, as well as communicate effectively in person and over the phone.
  • Technical Aptitude: Basic technical knowledge of automobiles and their components is helpful for explaining services and addressing customer inquiries accurately.
  • Problem-Solving: The ability to analyze customer issues or concerns and provide solutions is important. Service Sales Executives may need to troubleshoot and find solutions to customer problems.
