We are seeking a Business Development Executive with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to join our fast-growing company in Singapore. This is a sales role with career advancement opportunities and an attractive remuneration package for suitable candidates.
You will be responsible for searching for new clients and cross-selling/upselling solutions to existing clients. On top of that, you will work closely alongside management to sell and co-create new solutions and business opportunities. As a Business Development Executive specializing in Microsoft 365 products, you will play a crucial role in expanding our customer base by effectively identifying, targeting, and engaging SMBs seeking comprehensive cloud-based productivity solutions. Leveraging your expertise in Microsoft 365 and your sales acumen, you will be responsible for driving the whole sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals and building lasting client relationships.
NOTE: This is a remote-working position.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, research, and target potential SMB clients within the designated territory. Develop a deep understanding of the SMB landscape, including industry trends, pain points, and competitive offerings.
- Generate and qualify leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking and referrals
- Consultative Selling: Engage prospects in consultative discussions to understand their business needs, challenges, and goals. Position Microsoft 365 products as tailored solutions to address these needs and drive business transformation.
- Solution Presentation: Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations of Microsoft 365 products to showcase their features, benefits, and value proposition to potential clients. Customize presentations to align with each prospect's unique requirements.
- Proposal Development: Collaborate with the solutions team to create proposals that outline the recommended Microsoft 365 products and implementation.
- Negotiation and Closing: Lead negotiation efforts to ensure mutually beneficial agreements that meet both client’s expectations and company objectives. Drive the sales process to successful closure while maintaining a customer-centric approach.
- Relationship Building: Establish and nurture relationships with clients.
- Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, opportunities, and forecasts using CRM software. Provide regular sales reports, performance metrics, and insights to management.
- Collaboration: Collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and a positive customer experience.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in Business Development or sales
- Previous work experience in tele-sales or B2B software sales preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- A self-motivated and proactive mindset, able to make suggestions on the improvement of the firm, and generate initiatives on your own
- A high level of interpersonal or communication skills
- Problem-solving mindset while thinking critically when faced with challenges
- Enjoys working in a team and with flat hierarchy
- Able to multi-task and prioritize
- Ability to speak English and Mandarin clearly, with a good command of spoken language
Salary Range : RM 5,000 to RM 8,000
