A Research Assistant position is available in the laboratory of A/P Melissa Jane Fullwood, School of Biological Sciences, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. The project will focus on epigenomics analyses of cancer and healthy cells.
Job Description:
- Conduct epigenomics and transcriptomics wet lab experiments and/or analyze chromatin interaction and RNA-related as well as other bioinformatics data
- Prepare journal papers
- Give oral presentations and poster presentations about the work
- Take care of administrative and logistics related to the lab
- Mentor other lab members especially junior lab members such as Final Year Project students
- Other related tasks
Job Requirements:
- Good BSc (Hons) degree in biological sciences or related areas, with focus on epigenomics or related fields
- Prior lab experience in bioinformatics
- R programming
- Python programming
- Ability to work in a Linux system and manage servers
