Job Responsibilities:
Objective:
- To perform penetration testing on various systems and networks, identify vulnerabilities and exploits, and write detailed reports on their findings.
- Use the tools included with the Kali Linux distribution
Key responsibilities and tasks associated with the role:
- Perform tests on applications, network devices, and cloud infrastructures.
- Design and conduct simulated social engineering attacks.
- Research and experiment with different types of attacks.
- Develop methodologies for penetration testing.
- Review code for security vulnerabilities.
- Document and communicate the results and recommendations of the tests.
- Follow ethical hacking principles and best practices.
Job Requirements:
- Knowledge in penetration testing methodologies and best practices
- Experience with network scanning and enumeration, vulnerability analysis and exploitation
- Preferably experience dealing with web application attacks and bypassing security mechanisms
- Knowledge in buffer overflows and shellcode development
- Understand privilege escalation and post-exploitation techniques, linux and Windows system administration and scripting
- Basic report writing and documentation
- Basic Networking, hypervisor and storage knowledge
