Job Description We are looking for a passionate Coffee professional to join our Tim Hortons team. As the expert, you will provide technical expertise for the region, working in partnership with our global, regional and local teams to build a powerful Product Innovation toolkit with local relevance that resonates with guests around the region, particularly in the Coffee, Non-coffee Beverage, Baked Goods and Sandwich & Wrap categories. Based out of our Regional Headquarters in Singapore, this role will help drive our Brand Positioning, Brand Love and Product Leadership efforts.

Responsibilities:

· Actively partner with Regional and Global Marketing Teams, Field Teams and Local Franchisees to lead the development and execution of Tim Hortons innovation strategy in APAC

· Manage the development and launch of new and existing food concepts for the APAC region from paper concept, sample screening to market launch

· Provide guidance to local teams on product innovation, product standards and consumer testing

· Support concept and product testing to provide consumer insights and validation to innovation ideas

· Act as a guardian for product standards and manage the product approval process

· Coordinate cross-functional alignment with internal partners (e.g. Operations, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance) and work with external suppliers to bring products to market or resolve issues with existing products

· Implement Tim Hortons Culinary Beliefs across the region, managing project planning and partnering with franchisees and suppliers to adapt and approve menus;

· Lead Menu development for new market entry projects for the brand, in partnership with local, regional and global teams, by leveraging guest and market research, defining menu architecture and managing various workstreams to deliver highest quality menu Day 1;

· Project manage the implementation of innovation projects, working with key stakeholders throughout the organization, including Global Marketing, Regional Marketing and Field Teams, Local Franchisee Teams and External Vendor Teams;

· Partner with the Global and International Marketing and Product Innovation teams to deliver product innovation launching plans;

· Leverage consumer insights, supporting franchisees, regional and global marketing teams on understanding key category insights, business and brand product performance, target segments’ needs and occasions and validating product performance;

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor or major in business administration and/or marketing, Liberal Arts & Sciences acceptable if other requirements are met; Consideration will also be given for Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science / Food Engineering / Nutrition

• 3-5 years of experience in product innovation in a food manufacturing company, in the restaurant industry or in an FMCG company

• You are a Coffee & Food Lover: creating recipes, cooking and eating are amongst you life passions

• Strong knowledge of Marketing from Insights through Brand Strategy

• Relevant experience in the Asia Pacific region

• Strong comfort with proficiency in analytics and creative problem-solving skills

• Strong teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong project management and organizational skills with high attention to detail

• Resilient and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment working on multiple and competing projects simultaneously, with a sense of urgency and thoughtfulness

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence without authority and relate to Franchise Owners, team members, agencies and everyone in between

• Strong written and oral presentation skills with ability to convey key messages in compelling way

• Entrepreneurial spirit with “it’s always Day 1” mindset

• Fluent business English; Conversational Mandarin preferred, but not required
