Assistant Sales Manager (Direct Sales in B2B Freight Forwarding)

Responsibilities:

· Collaborate closely with the sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies and achieve sales targets.

· Obtaining new customers and generating additional revenue streams from existing accounts.

· Generate incremental volume and maximizing margin contribution to the overall network.

· Carry out cross-border commerce activities relating to Singapore business.

· Analyse sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for improving sales performance.

· Gather market intelligence/information to analyse trends and data to aid pricing decisions and strategies and to provide accurate and timely market updates.

· Coordinate the logistics process, which includes order processing, shipment monitoring, and delivery scheduling.

· Conceptualize and implement marketing plans and delivering market strategies to meet company objective.

· Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, shipping companies.

· Professionally and in a timely manner follow up on client communications.

· Resolve customer inquiries related to logistics and delivery to ensure customer satisfaction.

· Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in logistics and sales management.



Job Requirements:

· Proven experience in logistics management or a related field, preferably in a sales-driven environment.

- More than 3 years of sales experience in a hunting job in logistics or freight forwarding.

· Diploma/ Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or in a discipline related to Logistics & Supply Chain Management.

· Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

· Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.

· Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices in logistics management.
