We are looking for associate psychologist to join and provide behavioural support, life skills training, family support and public education
Job Responsibilities:
Conducting Assessments:
- Assist and engage in psychological assessments for students to support education/vocational placement decisions such as
1. Learning difficulties
2. Evaluate concerns of behaviour through FBA
3. Mental Capacity Assessment
4. Psychological Assessment
5. Assist students in overcoming academic, social, and emotional challenges.
Implement Interventions/Case Work
- Address academic, social and emotional difficulties
- Employing evidence-based and data-driven strategies to collaborate with multidisciplinary team
- Proritize behaviours using EBP/PBS framework.
- Execute intervention plans and guide others to implement intervention.
- Track progress through data collection and adjust interventions as needed, under supervision.
Build Stakeholder Relationships
- Provide psychological inputs to other specialised departments and relevant professionals
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver and improve students/client care services
- Create public awareness and advocacy.
Maintain & Adhere to Professional standar
- Maintain & adhere to professional standards of practice i.e legal and ethical practices within scope of competency
- Adhere to policies and procedures for professional practices
- Identify areas of improvement in client care services, to deliver quality improvement projects.
Enhance Professional Psychology Practice
- Participate in continuous professional development
- Identify improvements in model of care and service delivery based on evidence-based practice
- Deliver psycho-educational programs within scope of practice
- Offer guidance to peers and interns.
Job Requirement:
- Minimum a degree in psychology
- Minimum at least 1-2 years of relevant experience
- Some experience with special needs children / adults is a plus point
- Pro-active attitude with good interpersonal skills
- Organization skills
- Team player able to to work and contribute in a multidisciplinary team setting
- Thrive in fast-paced environment
- Proficient in MS Office
