Job Summary:

HCS Scientific and Chemical Pte Ltd, a pioneering company based in Singapore specializing in the manufacturing and trading of scientific equipment, chemicals, and laboratory consumables, is seeking an experienced Sales Specialist. This role is pivotal in driving our sales strategy and expanding our client base while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets in scientific equipment, chemicals, and laboratory consumables.
  2. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  3. Understand customer needs and requirements to offer suitable solutions.
  4. Provide detailed product demonstrations and presentations to clients.
  5. Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
  6. Collaborate with the marketing team to identify emerging market trends and potential clients.
  7. Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network and increase brand visibility.
  8. Provide feedback to the management and product development teams on market trends, customer needs, and competitors.
  9. Attractive commission scheme

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related scientific field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, preferably in scientific equipment or chemical sales.
  • Strong technical knowledge of scientific equipment and chemicals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand market dynamics.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively.

Competency:

  • Ability to use equipment for product demonstrations.
