Position Overview:

The Executive in Leasing Management is responsible for leading and managing the leasing to achieve occupancy and revenue goals for residential or commercial properties. This role involves strategic planning, and fostering strong relationships with clients, tenants, and colleagues.


Key Responsibilities:


Lease Administration:

  • Oversee the lease application and approval process.
  • Ensure lease agreements are compliant with legal and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date lease records and tenant information.

Tenant Relations:

  • Handle tenant inquiries, concerns, and requests professionally and promptly.
  • Address tenant complaints and conflicts, working towards resolutions.
  • Foster positive tenant relationships to encourage lease renewals.

Marketing and Advertising:

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract potential tenants.
  • Create and manage advertising campaigns and online listings.
  • Monitor market trends and adjust leasing strategies accordingly.

Financial Management:

  • Set and manage leasing budgets.
  • Monitor rent collection and ensure timely payments.
  • Evaluate and recommend rental rate adjustments based on market analysis.

Property Inspections:

  • Conduct property inspections and walkthroughs with prospective tenants.
  • Ensure properties are well-maintained and address any maintenance or repair needs.

Compliance and Legal:

  • Stay informed about local, state, and federal leasing regulations.
  • Ensure lease agreements and practices comply with all relevant laws.
  • Handle evictions and legal proceedings when necessary.

Reporting:

  • Generate regular reports on leasing performance, occupancy rates, and revenue.
  • Provide updates and insights to senior management or property owners.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in leasing management, property management, or real estate.
  • Strong knowledge of leasing laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Leadership and team management abilities.
  • Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
