Our client is a Global Manufacturing MNC, one of the leading players in the Oil & Gas servicing sector. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Materials Management Manager to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the West.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee material requirements planning (MRP) under Planning department and Master Scheduler.
- Collaborate in the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIPO) process.
- Ensure the adequate material supply as required in alignment with MRP schedules.
- Manage the logistics of material arrivals with other departments to facilitate Receiving Inspection.
- Supervise all inventory-related processes and reporting.
- Identify and implement process improvements and lean initiatives
- Crafting meaningful productivity and performance metrics.
- Calculate production lead times to optimize production planning.
- Utilize controls reporting (input & output) to analyze production floor.
- Identify planned demand and create tactical production plans to meet customer demands.
- Conduct thorough inventory analyses to determine whether inventories need to be maintained, adjusted, or optimized.
- All other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Min Degree in Business / Supply Chain management / Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 8 year of relevant experience in Oil &Gas (offshore equipment manufacturing) environment.
- Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) / APICS CPIM will be added advantageous.
