ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The incumbent supports planning in aspects of defining, developing, and improving new products for enterprise and cloud customers using the full suite of SES products and services. This includes GEO & MEO satellite assets, ground networks and third party where applicable. It is expected that the incumbent will be also supporting the SES Asia sales team in deploying the products, meeting customers, and documenting in detail and responding to customer feedback and interactions regarding the new product(s).
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY RESULT AREAS
Support regional and global Product team to ensure technical solutions are presented clearly and address commercial considerations
Support the development and positioning of SES products, services and solutions in the Enterprise and Cloud market vertical
Working closely with the a cross-functional set of internal/external stakeholders, the position will be accountable for contribute to the development of one or more SES Enterprise and Cloud services and responsible for the deployment and management of these services
Prioritizing customer intimacy, including by evaluate and integrating customers’ feedback into product development and innovation to maintain and enhance product-market fit
Working with Vendor management teams to ensure effective vendor support for defined products and competitive sourcing of technology and developments for the new products
Evaluate options for, and develop go-to-market strategy for Enterprise products and solutions
Supporting sales engagements to deliver Enterprise and Cloud product revenue
Developing and executing launch campaigns for new products
Prepare customer presentations on service solutions, systems design and standard products
Support operational trials and demonstrations, enhancing the customers knowledge of SES products
Work with customers to advance their business with SES by identifying new and innovative applications.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Master’s Degree+ in Economics/Telecommunications/Aerospace/Computer Science or demonstrated professional experience in technology product management
Knowledge of GEO and MEO satellite services and market environment
Theoretical experience with antenna design and optimization
Knowledge of satellite transmission analysis and optimization
Knowledge of the design and architecture of Enterprise and Telecommunications Networks
Knowledge and experience in IP based networks and services
Regional and segment market experience and business cultural awareness
Knowledge of English is essential. Additional regional languages desirable
