The Procurement Assistant is responsible to provide administrative support to the Procurement Department in ensuring supply of products at the right quality, prices, and time to meet customers’ requirement.He/she will handle trade purchasing process as well as maintaining suppliers’ relationships.
Job Description:
- Responsible for full spectrum of purchasing process (sourcing, quotation enquiry, price negotiation, placement of orders and delivery arrangement).
- Generating Purchase Order timely & accurately.
- Negotiate with suppliers in getting the best price and quantity at required timing.
- Expediting of orders to ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
- Liaise with suppliers on claims for products with issue.
- Collaborate with logistic for delivery and with finance to facilitate payment process to suppliers.
- Work with sales and procurement team in accomplishing duties as needed.
Job Requirement:
- A team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, attention to details, organized, meticulous and independent.
- Proficient in MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Words.
- O’Level/Diploma; fresh graduates are welcomed; Advantageous for candidate who has relevant experience and or knowledge in ISO.
- Good written and spoken language skill (English is a must)
