The client is seeking an outstanding and motivated Senior/Assistant Manager to manage the operations and administration in the Department of Diagnostic Imaging. Your role would be to ensure seamless delivery of services and efficient operations across the full range of diagnostic, interventional and therapeutic radiology services.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
- Review processes and resources, and recommend changes including leveraging on technological advancements to improve efficiency, utilization and service delivery.
- Establish appropriate policies and internal control for activities in the department.
- Manage center operations to ensure timely delivery of services to patients, staff and internal customers.
- Compile and collate statistics to assist senior manager in monitoring performance indicators in the respective sections
- Address, monitor patient feedback and implement interventions to enhance patient service delivery
- Work closely with IT leads to ensure seamless workflow between Radiological Information System (RIS), Picture Archival Communication System (PACS) and other inter-linked hospital systems.
Budgeting and Financial Management
- Plan and prepare budgets that are consistent with formulated plans and strategies of the department & hospital
- Ensure fiscal sustainability through cost management and fee reviews
Project Management
- Establish contracts and implement policies to govern relationships with external partnerships or operations with public or private entities.
- Evaluate procurement projects and provide project management support for procurement and implementation of new equipment and technology.
- Render project management and administrative support to clinical projects in collaboration with clinical team
People Management
- Communicate and foster good relations with doctors and staff outside the department
- Manage staff in daily duties, which include developing, counselling and appraising staff at regular
intervals
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree from a recognized university, preferably with 2 years or more work experience in healthcare setting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and organization skills
- Resilient, adaptable with “Can do” attitude
- Knowledge of operational, financial and human resource management
