We are seeking Research Associates to join a university-level research centre collaborating with industry. The position is for one year, renewable subject to satisfactory performance. Successful candidates will be involved in a project that is related to Image and Video Restoration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist lead researchers in defining project scope, goals, and deliverables that support achievement of project deliverables
- Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all aspects of the research project align with the set objectives
- Act as a liaison between the research team and other departments, ensuring smooth communication and understanding of project updates
- Coordinate team meetings, record minutes, and ensure timely communication of action items
- To attend, contribute, and where necessary lead relevant meetings
- To undertake any other duties relevant to the programme of research
Job Requirements:
- A Master’s degree in relevant fields;
- Have experience in a research environment or related roles; candidates with prior experience in a university relations team are also encouraged to apply;
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills;
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines;
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and related software;
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
