Job Responsibilities
The candidate will collaborate closely with the entire IT/ICS infrastructure and application teams to oversee, maintain, and enhance the network infrastructure.
Daily operational responsibilities include:
- Monitoring and maintaining network connectivity for HQ and its associated stores.
- Analyzing network traffic patterns to optimize performance.
- Executing backup and disaster recovery plans when necessary.
- Managing network devices such as Firewalls, IDS/IPS, load balancers, and more.
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining network software and hardware.
- Analyzing network logs and packet captures to identify issues.
- Assisting in addressing VAPT compliance requirements and verification
- Project management during implementation, documenting network configurations, and vendor management.
Network Device Management:
- Proficiency and experience in configuring and managing network hardware/devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and access points.
Systems Knowledge:
- Understanding of Windows, Linux, and virtualization for integrating network services. Familiarity with cloud provider management consoles such as Azure Portal, Linode Glish, or AWS Elastic Beanstalk is a plus.
Security Expertise:
- Knowledge of network security practices and policies in Firewalls, IDS/IPS, and encryption protocols.
Qualifications:
- Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications are beneficial, including:
- a. Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- b. Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
Technological Proficiency:
- Familiarity with and understanding of the following concepts and technological standards:
- a. TCP/IP protocol and subnets.
- b. Routing and switching.
- c. VLANs and LAN/WAN configurations.
- d. Network security principles and best practices.
- e. Quality of Service (QoS).
- f. Network monitoring and management tools.
- g. Hybrid Enterprise Network Architecture (On-Prem + Cloud).
