In the role of Associate Recruitment Consultant, you will be making a significant impact in a number of key areas of the business:
Recruitment
- Delivering Great Candidates: You’ll be playing an important role in delivering Connexus Global’s key products to our clients – Exceptional candidates!
- Building Networks: Your day will be full of great conversations with candidates (both over the phone and face to face), as you strive to build relationships with people and assess the potential value they can add to our clients.
- Client Needs Assessment: Working closely with lead recruitment consultants on assigned projects, you’ll be meeting clients and asking probing questions to fully understand your clients’ needs.
- Candidate Search: You’ll then plan and execute a search strategy to identify outstanding candidates. Everyone uses LinkedIn, so you’ll need to be creative and intelligent to reach those candidates your competitors can’t get to.
- Candidate Qualification & Screening: The phone will be your best friend – You’ll be talking to lots of candidates every day to qualify and screen them professionally and accurately.
- Management & Consultation: You’ll play a pivotal role in the consultation process, such as arranging interviews and providing feedback to candidates and clients. You’ll also be managing offers and resignation processes to ensure the hiring process concludes seamlessly.
Sales & Business Development
- Developing Existing Clients: When you deliver great results for your clients more work will follow, so by delivering an outstanding recruitment service, you’ll be making a big contribution to developing more new business for Connexus Global.
- Market Information & Business Origination: Your candidate conversations will unlock a wealth of market information including companies hiring, firing, expanding, or restructuring. You’ll learn what to ask and how to use this vital information to assist in new business origination.
- New Business Opportunities:The best jobs are usually not available at the same time as the best candidates, so you’ll be talking to candidates to arrange speculative discussions with our clients and generate potential new business opportunities.
- Developing Clients from Candidates:As many candidates can become clients, you’ll strive to build strong relationships with placed candidates and support future hiring needs. You’ll also become adept at flipping candidate calls and discussing company hiring needs so as to create opportunities for new business.
- Building New Contacts: You’ll be taking verbal references for final stage candidates and be using the opportunity to develop new senior contact points with potential new clients.
Organisation
- Data Management: Experts need great data, so you’ll be taking data very seriously and always adding detailed notes and feedback into our systems on everything you do.
- Online Brand Development: You’ll be developing your online brand and driving engagement on LinkedIn, which will help you in attracting great candidates and growing your network.
- Internal Relationship Building:Building strong Internal relationships is at the core of who we are, so you’ll be working hard to get to know and collaborate with others across the business.
- Feedback & Improvement: Your views really matter at Connexus, so you’ll be encouraged to contribute to group discussions and share feedback and ideas on how we can keep improving.
