Responsibilities:
- Planned, designed, scheduled, and managed all aspects of utilities, roads, and waterways-related works.
- Utilize raw data collected from the site to develop and prepare comprehensive construction specifications and procedures that outline the requirements, standards, and guidelines relevant to the project.
- Conduct a comprehensive review and analysis of the materials, utility services, and related works to identify any discrepancies or inconsistencies, and propose appropriate realignment measures when necessary.
- Perform on-site field services for inspection, assessment, and supervision of crucial areas of work.
- Effectively oversee and supervise the progress and quality of workmanship, ensuring strict adherence to authority requirements.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination among various stakeholders including design consultants, engineers, internal departments, client representatives, authority agencies, and other relevant parties to establish work deliverables requirements.
- Act as a liaison between different disciplines, fostering effective communication and information exchange to ensure the harmonious alignment of designs.
- Apply expertise in MicroStation to prepare final drawings for submission and approval by the corresponding authorities.
- Application of AutoCAD 2D and Civil 3D software to study, identify, and resolve potential clashes and provide approvals for existing and future works.
- Create comprehensive design drawings in accordance with the specific standard specifications outlined by the relevant Singapore government authorities.
- Undertake additional miscellaneous tasks including the development of Civil 3D models for projects, generating quantity take-offs for roads, waterways, and utilities, and preparing technical specifications for each specific work.
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering
- At least 3 relevant experiences in civil projects. Those with experience handling LTA projects will be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Civil 3D is preferred.
