At Zenika Singapore, we are looking for an ambitious Senior Business Development Manager with proven experience in a technology consulting environment. We are looking for someone who is passionate about what they do, keen to learn, grow and develop with the business, as well as facilitate the growth of others. In this role, you are part of a fast-growing organization, yet very young at heart, and playing a role with real impact in shaping the culture, maturing the processes, and eventually supporting our expansion beyond Singapore.

  • You thrive when tasked with driving new business acquisition, forging strong relationships with potential clients, and closing sales deals.
  • You engage in continuous exchanges with our customers and market experts and are skilled at articulating their value to potential clients, uncovering and understanding client challenges at an early stage to apply them in a way that creates opportunities for our current accounts and prospects.
  • Proven track record of successful sales experience in a consulting or software services organization.
  • Knowledge of technology trends, software development, agile methodologies, and digital transformation is highly desirable.
  • Technology and consulting acumen with the ability to positively translate into business value.
  • The expertise to sell premium, not commoditised or compromised services and actively managing the continuous development of our customer portfolio.
  • You have a proven record of success driving complex sales through a disciplined process.
  • You're comfortable interfacing with the C-suite on their strategy, ensuring that we're
  • delivering the expected outcomes while anticipating new challenges.
  • Your hunter mentality will help you acquire new customers for Zenika with creative sales strategies, active market development and networking, and further expand our established market position.
  • You accompany our customers through the entire sales cycle: from solution-oriented consulting, proposal preparation and negotiation to post-sales activities.


As a Senior Business Development Manager with us, you may be assigned to:

  • Primary focus is on generating leads, prospecting, and converting opportunities into long-term business partnerships through following up on leads and conducting research on target clients.
  • Utilize various channels (e.g., networking, cold calling, social media, referrals) to generate a robust pipeline of qualified leads.
  • Actively participate in industry events, conferences, and meetups to establish connections and expand the network.
  • Identifying key decision makers and influencers and determining how Zenika can solve their transformation needs.
  • Craft customized proposals and negotiate terms to meet the client's specific needs.
  • Working on cross-team projects and best practices in order to enhance the sales funnel and find new opportunities to grow Zenika revenue.
  • Collaborate with the sales and delivery team to ensure requirements are met, such as sales numbers and profit goals.
  • Collaborate closely with technical teams to ensure alignment between client requirements and proposed solutions.
  • Manage and grow a sales pipeline, while identifying gaps in current sales processes and bringing in best practices and new approaches to increase win rate and decrease sales cycles.
  • Maintain a very clear and accurate picture of what you are cultivating for the next quarter, what’s at risk, what’s starting to bubble up very early and what you should be actively dropping regularly.
  • Navigate the entire sales process with target prospects and senior decision-makers, including reviving relationships with dormant prospects.
  • Sell across numerous verticals and to C-level executives.
  • Achieve sales targets through strategic selling processes and adherence to sales plans.
  • Frequent reporting and managing data of prospective clients in our CRM system (Pipedrive).
  • Write and maintain account plans for your key target accounts.
