Job Description

- Position Title: Quality Engineer (Based at Bintan)
- Working Location: Bintan
- Working Hours: Mon – Fri (8 am – 5 pm)
- Salary: Basic up to $4500 + Overseas Allowance + Variable Bonus (Expat Package)
- Duration: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and maintain a quality management and continually improve its effectiveness in accordance with quality management systems standards for QC/QA activities assigned.
- Assist in managing and planning for internal audit.
- Assist the Management Representative fo the Quality Management System.
- Participate in process development, evaluation and improvement to achieve higher yield, better quality and lower cost.
- Participate in failure analysis of returned samples and/or process samples in support of the troubleshooting efforts by carrying out sampling tests and measurements.
- Help to manage QA laboratory functions and activities in accordance to the established procedure to ensure compliance to the specified standards in quality.
- Coordinate and support other departments in issuance of test standards and software.
- Assist to compile, coordinate and verify the corrective actions using the 8D methodology.

- Degree in Quality/Electrical & Electronics or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in similar capacity and industry.
- Possesses strong quality analytical backgrounds.
- Possesses strong leadership qualities and management skills.
- Knowledge and experience in ISO9001 and TS16949 will be an advantage.
- Willing to be posted to Bintan.
