· overseeing an organization’s creative output
· in charge of reviewing and approving digital content drafts
· lead a team of graphic designers, artists, or other creative professionals
· involved in all aspects of the collaboration, from concept to execution.
· inspect the design layouts to ensure that the team adhered to the specifications and maintained high-quality standards.
· in charge of developing new concepts or ideas for upcoming projects
· Involved in team brainstorming sessions or individual time for ideation.
· Provides direction relating to design to subordinates
· Works with Design teams and Finance/Operations management to develop staffing and capacity plans to ensure the department is positioned for success
· Provides periodic evaluations of utilization and productivity, and systematically reports these results
· Estimate the amount of time required to create the required assets
· Review each brief that comes into the creative team
· Manage and administrate the day-to-day production of company-wide creative needs in a timely manner
· Provide mentorship and sound management practices to the Design team
· Receive and review incoming requests, compile and combine various requests based on direction, timelines and budgets
