Morgan McKinley is partnering with one of the largest Superapp companies for a Communications Manager role.
The Communications team is responsible for telling the company's story around the world. We are a strategic partner to the multiple business functions in the company– to help them drive their business objectives.
We are looking for a Regional Communications Manager. This is a strategic function operating at HQ level, with the opportunity to work directly with senior executives at the company. The role offers the chance to gain exposure to multiple high-value sectors such as tech, fintech, mobility and deliveries, with a target audience that extends beyond Asia to International / US-based audiences.
Job Description:
- Drive proactive paid/owned/earned storytelling across product and tech - which requires the hire to keep on top of product updates, shape comms strategies and narratives around these developments and then execute
- Support executives in external engagements
- Oversee our corporate communications review processes, including press room management, reporting and media relationship management
- Provide support for key campaigns and media activities
Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree (no preference in field)
- Minimum 7 years of experience: Technology Public Relations , media relations, crisis/issues management
- Experience working in a regional or global team in a fast-growth company
- Hands-on and motivated by challenging work
Desirable Experience / Criteria:
- Content marketing or integrated marketing experience would be a plus
- Consumer technology and Internet sector experience preferred
- Comfortable with data and able to translate it into information that is easy to understand
