Asia CSO Finance supports four key territories: Australia & New Zealand (ANZ), Greater China Region (GCR), Japan (JP) and Southeast Asia, Korea and India (S-KI).

We partner closely with consumer sales, marketing and category teams to identify growth opportunities, accelerate revenue, optimize resource allocation whilst supporting a strong compliance culture.

The team is structured in 4 main groups: FP&A, Gaming, Devices & Creativity (DC) and Device Partner Sales (DPS).

Responsibilities

This is an exciting role in the Asia Consumer Finance team. In this capacity, you lead the FP&A team who are responsible for driving key financial cycles (e.g. Outlook, Forecasting, Budget, P&L Close), generating actionable insights that drive performance and growth, optimizing resource allocation and overall P&L management as well as supporting the business led compliance rhythms.

You are expected to work very closely with the Asia GM, Asia CFO and Extended Leadership Team, providing support, process and rhythm of business (ROB) clarity as well as data-driven insights that result in sound decision making and strong execution.

A member of the Asia Finance Leadership team, you are expected to coordinate overall Finance and People rhythms as well as help shape and build the culture and community within Finance.

People

  • Attract and nurture a diverse, inclusive, and high performing team. You care about every individual as well as how the team works collectively with other groups.
  • Leverage and build communities across Asia/WW within Finance to drive shared learning, insights to drive the business and sharing of best practices.
  • Coordinate Asia FLT People rhythm processes

Partnership

  • Drive strong collaboration with Gaming and DC Customer Solution Area (CSA’s) finance teams, consolidating a One Asia CSO view.
  • Provide finance support to Asia GM, Asia CFO and Extended Leadership team across performance reporting, forecasting, P&L and investment management.
  • Anticipate business needs. Provide insights and support decision making on resource allocation, productivity, and ROI to accelerate growth.
  • Manage and monitor big bet commitments and drive the overall Asia CSO Growth Plan
  • Support both Partner and Direct channel sales teams, enabling deeper Account insights and clarity of investments and performance, leveraging WW tools and processes.

Prioritisation

  • Drive operational excellence landing effective and efficient finance processes (Budget, Forecast, Close).
  • Lead Asia Finance transformation (e.g., simplification, standardization, centralization)
  • Oversee Area Financials all up, including overall Asia P&L/HC management and area connection with WW and other Regions.
  • Coordinate Asia Agility processes and optimize CSO investments, leveraging ROI frameworks to drive increase prioritization across channels, partners and territories.

Protect

  • Champion a culture of compliance, integrity and risk management across Asia CSO
  • Support Asia CSO Business Led Compliance Rhythm, collaborating with business compliance champions and territory C&C leads.
  • Anticipate risks and escalate when needed.
  • Embody Microsoft privacy, security and ethics standards.
