COMPANY DESCRIPTION
We are one of the largest one-stop Underground Utilities Infrastructure companies based in Singapore. We provide Underground Utilities Infrastructure construction and maintenance, sewer pipeline rehabilitation, road and airfield construction and maintenance as well as asphalt pre-mix production and construction waste recycling.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Liaise with consultants/clients and preparation of monthly progress claims
- Monitor the work progress and alert the project team for potential claims
- Preparation of VOs and other contractual claims
- Drafting contractual letters and work closely with contract/legal team
- Collecting quotations and negotiation of prices with Suppliers/Subcontractors
- Sourcing of local and/or overseas vendors for quotations
- Review the terms and conditions provided by Suppliers/Subcontractors and advise the project team
- Verify the completed works by Subcontractors and prepare payments on time
- Tender costing build-up
- Monitor the project budget and perform cost controlling
- Providing assistance to do cost variance analysis
- Preparation of cash flow data progressively
- Finalize project accounts/claims
- Liaise with inter-department representatives for pre and post-contract administration
- Must be meticulous, independent, highly motivated, a good team player and results-oriented
- Responsible and have good time management
- Perform other duties and tasks assigned by immediate supervisor or HOD
- Possess at least a Diploma in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in the construction industry. Those with experience in underground utilities especially water, oil and gas pipes will be advantageous
- Possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
- Well-versed in Microsoft Word/Excel/Power Point
- Only Singaporeans
- 5 days work week
