About the role: We are seeking an experienced Epic Systems Data Migration Specialist to join our team in our Global Transformation Company. As a Data Migration Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the migration of data from legacy systems to the Epic Systems platform. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate and seamless transfer of patient data to enhance the quality of care provided by our client’s organization.
Responsibilities:
- Analyse data from legacy systems and develop mapping strategies to ensure smooth migration.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design the data migration plan.
- Develop and implement data extraction, transformation, and loading processes to transfer data into the Epic Systems platform.
- Conduct thorough testing of the migrated data to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Identify and resolve any data-related issues during the migration process.
- Provide training and support to end-users on the use of the Epic Systems platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data migration aligns with organizational objectives.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong experience in data migration projects, particularly within a Hospital & Health Care setting.
- Proficiency in working with Epic Systems software, including Epic Caché, Chronicles, and Caboodle.
- In-depth understanding of data mapping and transformation methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
- Familiarity with healthcare terminology and regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and end-users.
