Responsibilities:
• Work closely with traders to issue relevant trading contracts and negotiate contract terms with suppliers and customers.
• Perform planning and execution of shipment process in accordance to the trade contracts.
• Draft L/C format and negotiate L/C terms with supplier and customer.
• Handling full set of shipping documents after vessel completes loading and follow up on logistics issues.
• Ensure timely and accurate issuance of provisional, preliminary and final invoices in accordance to contractual terms.
• Calculation of laytime and settling of demurrage/despatch of shipments handled
• Liaise with various internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues encountered in daily operation.
• Other ad-hoc duties as and when assigned by management
Requirements:
-Candidates majoring in International Trade or equivalent is preferred
- Experience in oil and gas trading industry will be an advantage
- Good knowledge on trading regulations
- Proficient in English and Mandarin Chinese in both spoken and written (in order to liaise with Chinese associates)
- Team player with excellent communication skill
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
